Trans Am
May 7, 2019“This is a bottom of a Trans Am we are doing. It looks real good in our opinion; we are very happy. It has a factory look to it.”
— Robert
Thanks, Robert! What a great looking LizardSkin application on the bottom of this Trans Am! As a seamless coating, LizardSkin covers complex geometry seamlessly. That provides you with the factory look that many of our customers enjoy on their automotive restoration projects. If you want to reduce the texture, you can sand the product down, however, removing the product via sanding will affect the overall sound deadening insulation and/or heat insulation value (depending on which product is being sanded). For further customization you can use LizardSkin TopCoat, or a topcoat of your choosing to customize the finish color of the overall project. You don’t have that option when dealing with peel-and-stick insulation mats or acoustic mats. If you are looking for the best automotive sound deadening insulation, automotive heat insulation, or both, you can pick and choose the right product(s) for your restoration project.
